Some of the butterflies photographed on a trip organised by Mike Williams of Butterfly Conservation, West Midlands Branch, UK, and led by Szabolcs Safian - Safi - to the Nimba Hills in the far north-east of Liberia ahead of major iron ore mining activity due to commence soon by Arcelor Mittal. The prime aim was to locate the Giant African Swallowtail, Papilio antimachus
